Frequently Asked Questions

  • What form of payment do you accept?
Sessions can be booked on our online booking system via credit card, PayPal or email info@kovspa.ca to book and pay via e-transfer. Gift certificates can be purchased in any amount using this link: https://www.kovspa.ca/gift-card or you can send us an email at info@kovspa.ca.
  • What happens in the case of poor weather?
The thermal cycle can be enjoyed in rain, snow, or fog; in fact, it makes it extra magical! However, if your thermal session is cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions (at the owner’s discretion), then you will be able to rebook for another time or be issued a credit to use for a future booking.
  • What is the temperature of the water?
The cold will range between 50-60 degrees Fahrenheit. The hot tubs are between 100-104 degrees Fahrenheit, and sauna will be between 140-175 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the season.
  • Can I bring my child?
The KŌV experience can be enjoyed by guests 12 years of age and older IF accompanied by a parent or guardian. This applies to private bookings only. Social Wednesdays and other group events are designed for adults ages 18 and up only.
  • Can I bring my pet?
We love our pets too, but KŌV is not the place to bring your pet (regardless of size or temperament). Pets are not permitted on site.
  • Where do I park?
We have ample parking in the driveway, as well as overflow parking directly across the lane from the end of the driveway if necessary. PLEASE DO NOT PARK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HILL BY THE BOAT LAUNCH. Our boat launch is home to a working fishery, and they require that space for parking, loading and unloading.
  • Where do I register when I arrive?
Please follow the path from the parking area to the Lounge to register and prepare for your visit. You will be greeted there. Please do not arrive any earlier than 10-15 minutes prior to your booked time slot as we need time to say goodbye to our previous guests and to clean and prepare for your visit.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that sometimes things happen that force you to change your plans and we will try to work with you to find a solution. However, we do have a 14-day cancellation policy. Cancel outside of those 14 days and reschedule at no extra cost. If a refund is requested outside of the 14 days, there will be a $25 payment processing/cancellation fee. Cancel within the 14 days and we will do our best to refund or rebook you if we have someone else to fill your original booking. In that case, you will only incur a $25 payment processing/cancellation fee. If there is not someone waiting to take that time slot, we apologize but you will be charged 100% of the session fee. Please understand it takes great time and care to prepare for each guest. We want your experience to be an amazing one.
  • Can I book a Yoga or meditation session at KŌV?
Please inquire via email info@kovspa.ca to inquire about additional services such as movement classes- mat classes and spin (indoor cycling) classes.
  • Do you serve alcohol?
At this time, we are not licensed to sell alcohol.
  • Do you have overnight accommodations?
We do not offer overnight stays at this time but have recommendations of great inns/AirBNBs/bunkies, and hotels nearby. Just ask for the list!
  • Can our group size be larger than eight?
Yes, when timing and space permit, we can accommodate groups larger than eight (no more than 12). You can contact us via email at info@kovspa.ca to arrange your custom booking as additional fees will apply.
  •  Can I book a custom event?
Absolutely! Please reach out to info@kovspa.ca with your details and we’ll do our best to customize your private event (additional fees may apply).
  • When are you open?
We are open March-January, every day from 10am-9pm.
  • Do we have to be quiet?
One of the great benefits of your booking being private and exclusive is that you can decide your vibe! Talking is permitted.
  • What should I bring?
Bring your flip-flops (we will have some here to purchase if you find yourself without), hat or toque, sunglasses, and lip balm.
  • Can I take part in the thermal cycle ritual while pregnant?
No; it is not recommended that pregnant women take part in hot and cold-water therapy due to extreme fluctuations in body temperature. However, if there is a pregnant person in your group, they are welcome to enjoy the various lounge areas, walk the beach, and enjoy the view.
